‘Kingdom Hearts IV’ Announced at 20th Anniversary Event with Dazzling Trailer

Sora, Goofy and Donald are back in business.

Square Enix and Disney announced that Kingdom Hearts IV will be officially released during an event in Japan on Sunday celebrating the 20th anniversary of the series.

The latest installment in the popular franchise sends Sora and his friends Donald and Goofy on a brand new adventure called the Arc of the Lost Master.

Along with the announcement of “Kingdom Hearts IV”, Square Enix also announced the development of a standalone game “Kingdom Hearts Missing Link”. The Missing Link, which will feature its own original story, will be available for Android and iOS devices.

The highly anticipated final chapter of Kingdom Hearts Dark Road will be released in August 2022 as a free update for the Kingdom Hearts Union χ Dark Road app.

Kingdom Hearts IV will take place in the city of Quadratum, according to Square Enix. Press release. In the trailer, fans have witnessed the first appearance of Strelitzia, a mysterious new character who appears before Sora in this strange new setting.
