GHOST rescues 18 children from the list of 30 most vulnerable during the operation

GENESEE CO., Michigan. (VNEM) – Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson announced Friday that the Genesee Human Oppression Strike Team has rescued 18 of the 30 children on their list of the most vulnerable.

The GHOST rescue operation took place on June 30th.

Children on their most vulnerable lists are classified as children who elude probate court and Child Protective Services.

The GHOST team said they will continue to investigate and search for the other 12 prominent children on the list.

“Predators are looking for vulnerable children that no one ever thinks about,” Swanson said.

Children included in the list of the most vulnerable are classified as potential victims.

One of the rescued children, aged 14, was taken to Voices for Children for a forensic medical examination. According to GHOST, the 14-year-old showed evidence of physical abuse.

This case is reported to the CPS for the parent plan.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, the Michigan State Police, Voices for Kids, and the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the rescue.

GHOST has been involved in rescue work for the past five years.
