Carlos Sainz scores first F1 win at breathtaking British Grand Prix

Carlos Sainz took his first F1 victory in his 150th race when he led his Ferrari to a thrilling triumph in Sunday’s furious and crashing British Grand Prix.

The 27-year-old Spaniard, who started from pole for the first time, edged out Red Bull’s Sergio Pérez, who moved up from 17th, to take the flag by 3.7 seconds in front of a record crowd of 142,000 in the stadium. Silverstone Speedway.
