European authorities reacted on Sunday to the shooting that unfolded in the shopping center of the Danish capital near the venue Harry Styles concert scheduled for Sunday evening.

Police in Copenhagen tweeted that Filda shopping center staff had responded to reports of the shooting.

Several people were hit by a firearm, the department said, instructing the public to avoid the area. Police later said the suspect had been arrested, but did not release further information.

The department urged anyone with video footage of the incident or who saw what happened to dial 411. A large number of police officers remained at the scene, but it is unclear if there were any casualties.

Harry Styles is due to perform at the arena across the street from the mall on Sunday as part of his Love On Tour. He has recently performed in Oslo, Norway, Stockholm, Sweden and Hamburg, Germany.
