Support programs in Australia help Ukrainians settle into a new life

Stefan Romaniv, co-chair of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organizations, says about 8,000 visas have been issued to Ukrainians to flee to Australia.

“About 3,700 of them arrived,” he told Sky News Australia.

He said there are a number of programs to help people settle into new communities and get support in the process.

“It’s important that people can create a new life in the three years they’ve been here.”
