Far from war, Ukrainian sumo team trains for world glory in Japan

A team of Ukrainian sumo wrestlers whose training was interrupted by the Russian invasion are aiming for worldwide glory after a month-long gathering in the homeland of the ancient Japanese sport.

A six-member Ukrainian amateur sumo team flew to the U.S. state of Alabama on Tuesday to compete in the World Games, an Olympic event that features sports that do not compete in the Summer Games.
