‘People didn’t get a memo’: Albanese defends international travel

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says some people “didn’t understand the memo” about the “new policy” when he defended his international travels.

He said the new policy was to “do business” and deliver results for the Australian public.

“I was fulfilling the duties that I think I had going to Ukraine,” Mr. Albanese said.

“If you compare it to a holiday – I just do not find contempt, to be honest.”
