Cebu Pacific resumes Cebu-Singapore flights

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, is resuming direct flights from Cebu to Singapore from July 15, expanding its international flights from Cebu. This is the airline’s second international destination relaunched this month.

CEB will operate the specified route three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Flight 5J 547 departs Mactan Cebu International Airport Terminal 2 at 23:05 and arrives at Changi International Airport at 3:00 the next day. Return flight 5J 548, with flights every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, is scheduled to leave Singapore at 4:00 am and arrive in Cebu at 8:05 am.

This direct flight allows passengers from 22 other domestic destinations to fly to Singapore via Cebu. This includes Clark, Davao, Dumaguete, Tacloban and Zamboanga among others.

“We are excited to bring this route back to allow more passengers from Cebu and the rest of our network, especially in the Visayas and Mindanao regions, to fly internationally without going through Manila. This reopening of the route is part of our ongoing efforts to restore pre-pandemic system-wide capacity,” said Xander Lao, chief commercial officer of Cebu Pacific.

In addition to Singapore, earlier this month the carrier resumed flights to Seoul from its Cebu hub.

Fully vaccinated guests entering Singapore are not required to take a COVID-19 test prior to departure and are not required to quarantine upon arrival. Instead, they must provide proof of full vaccination (VaxCertPH or BOQ yellow card) and complete Singapore arrival card three (3) days prior to arrival.

Back home in Cebu, Filipinos no longer need to take a COVID test before leaving. For more information, passengers can contact CEB Travel Reminders page with the latest updates and full travel instructions to your destination.

CEB continues to offer guaranteed low fares to encourage travel across its widest domestic network in the Philippines. He continues to implement a layered approach to safety, working with a 100% fully vaccinated crew, 95% of whom have been boosted – all to ensure that every Juan can fly Cebu Pacific safely and comfortably.
