Tony Hawk LAND will open in The Sandbox metaverse, marking the skateboard legend’s first ever event. According to a recent press release, the three brands will work together to create the world’s largest platform-based virtual skate park. In addition, Autograph will begin selling Tony Hawk NFTs, which will feature skateboards, clothing, and equipment. The newly created NFTs can then be activated and used in The Sandbox metaverse, providing additional value to their owners.
“All my life I have been a fan of new technologies – from the first video games and home computers with computer graphics capabilities – so I am fascinated by the metaverse and excited to bring our culture into the virtual landscape of the Sandbox,” said Tony. Hawk in a recent interview.
