‘No place’: Westmead hospital patients to be treated on the street

Sky News reporter Kenny Heatley says nurses at Westmead Hospital are warning that new patients will be treated outside and there is “no room” inside the hospital.

Night shift workers at Westmead and Blacktown hospitals are leaving their jobs at the end of their shift as they face chronic understaffing and emergency room overcrowding.

“They say they have to treat patients who have been in serious car accidents and heart attacks in waiting rooms and in the hallways,” he said.
