Rory McIlroy and Victor Hovland lead the British Open

Rory McIlroy and Victor Hovland grappled together with four shots to take first place on the British Open leaderboard after beating St. Louis. Andrews with a corresponding third-round 66 on Saturday.

Norway’s Hovland got off to a fast start with four consecutive birds from third before Northern Ireland’s McIlroy chipped out of the bunker on the green, hit the 10th hole and took the lead with a birdie on the 14th.
