VIDEO: Flash flood hits burn scar from Arizona pipeline fire

The National Weather Service said water rushed through a scar from a pipeline fire near Flagstaff, Arizona, as flash floods remained a threat on Saturday, July 16.

Footage captured by Arizona Department of Game and Fish officer Tim Holt shows floodwaters roaring through a burn scar near the San Francisco Peaks, picking up debris along the way.

The department said the video is “a powerful visual reminder of how quickly monsoon storms can turn into flash floods.”
