Passengers gasp as New York bus navigates floodwaters

Severe storms swept across New York City on Monday, July 18, causing flash flooding and traffic disruptions across the city. On Monday evening, the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Manhattan, the Bronx, Yonkers and New Rochelle and urged residents to relocate to higher ground.
