And now a source close to the investigation said Time that Bibi may have died of a heart attack during a “sex game”.

A 44-year-old woman, who has not been named, was reportedly found half-naked in a hotel corridor.

The woman, who suffered from external wounds, including on her neck, was taken to the Florence Careggi hospital, where she underwent surgery for bleeding.

“She was seriously injured, and there are different versions of what happened, an erotic game is not ruled out,” the source said.

“We need to establish whether she consented or not, whether it was a game or aggression on his part – that’s what she can tell us.”

The woman is now in a stable condition and is expected to speak to police today after authorities decided to delay questioning her.

“It has to do with her physical condition as well as the trauma she is going through,” the source added.

“It wasn’t until Sunday that she was told that Bibi had died.”

An autopsy is to be performed on Thursday to determine Bibi’s cause of death.

“It was probably a heart attack, but the autopsy will confirm it,” the source said, adding that investigators have contacted British police for background information that could help with their investigation.

The police had previously stated that their main theory was that Ricky had some sort of seizure during the sex game that went wrong, but did not rule out domestic violence as the investigation continued.

Italian edition Il Gazettino reports that the couple arrived at the hotel on Friday, July 15, and hit the road in the evening, returning to the chic four-star hotel in “high spirits” around 2 a.m.

According to Corriere Della Sera, hotel staff were alerted by screams in their room just before 8 a.m. local time on Saturday.

Ricky’s body was found lifeless on the floor of the hotel room.

Il Gazzettino also reports that Bibi’s body shows no signs of trauma or injury, but a full autopsy will be performed.

The officers confirmed that the item was taken from the forensic examination room.

Coroner Martina Focardi ruled out the involvement of any third parties, as well as the presence of any drug residue in the hotel room, as quoted in Leggo.

A source close to the investigation said: “Mr Beebe showed no clear signs of injury that could have caused his death and no third party was involved.

“Samples were taken to establish whether drugs, Viagra or other substances were present.”

Tourist guides describe the luxurious riverside hotel as “playfully chic” with its own rooftop bar and spa, catering to “honeymooners and those looking for a romantic getaway.”

The Lee Centurions paid tribute to the player on Twitter, stating that the “popular” player died “while on holiday in Italy”.

St. Helens wrote: “We are saddened by the news of the passing of former Saint Ricky Beebe. Rickey played 21 times for us and was part of the 2004 Challenge Cup winning team that beat Wigan. All our thoughts are with Ricky’s friends and family during this terrible time.”

Fellow former rugby league star Leon Price tweeted: “Sincere condolences to Ricky’s family. We’ve been playing against each other since we were 14… Great guy. Absolutely devastating news.”
