US women’s soccer team qualified for the 2024 Olympics by defeating Canada

Alex Morgan scored a penalty in the 78th minute as the US women’s soccer team qualified for the 2024 Olympics by beating Canada 1-0 on Monday night in the Confederation of Football Associations of North, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) final. Women’s championship in Guadeloupe, Mexico.

It was Morgan’s pass to Rose Lavelle that saw defender Allisha Chapman cut Lavelle from the right side of the box. Morgan then stepped up to the spot and scored her 118th international goal in her 196th game.
