Explosiveness claims New York sales job was created for John Barilaro

NSW opposition leader Chris Minns says there have been ‘explosive revelations’ from John Barilaro chief of staff Mark Connell who appeared to indicate that the New York trading position was set up for a former NSW deputy prime minister .

Mr. Connell claimed that Mr. Barilaro told him in conversation that he did not want to go to London and that he was “going to New York”.

“If this is true, then this is a huge revelation – it would mean that a job was created for John Barilaro and the selection process was effectively rigged,” Minns told Sky News Australia.

“And then there was a month-long cover-up of who knew what, when, and the people of New South Wales didn’t get any information.”
