Chippa presents a whopping 16 new signings!

After confirming Dane Kleith as the club’s new head coach, Chippa United introduced 16 new players on Wednesday, including a Tanzanian and a Namibian.

Abdi Banda, a Tanzanian defender formerly with Baroka, is one of the newcomers to Chippe. Gang first came to the country in 2017 after signing with Bakgaga, and he later moved to Highlands Park.

“The club has worked very hard to strengthen our team for the 2022/23 season. We recently signed players from Kofimwaba, Tsomo and Gkeberha in the Eastern Cape. Chippa United Chairman, Mr. Siviwe Mpengesi introduced the new players during a housing handover today (Wednesday) in Deberha, eNgcobo along with Eastern Cape Prime Minister Hon. We are pleased to announce the following signings: Sipho Chain, Justice Chabalala, Trevor Matome Matian, Brooklyn Poggenpoel, Sirgio Kammies, Azola Nzabo, Avive Mkokozo, Khanisile Mayo, Diego Apollis, Shaquille Abrahams, Siseko Manona, Yurrig Mwood, Zanox Abdi Banda (Tanzanian International ), Elmo Cambindu (Nambian International) and Nkosikhona Dube.
