Mike Tyson at times believes his fate is inevitable.
The oddly philosophical and brooding Tyson made a number of sad statements on his recent podcast that will have fans fearing for his state of health. New York Post reports.
On his “Hot Boxing With Mike Tyson” podcast, the former heavyweight boxing champion invited injury and addiction therapist Sean McFarland as a guest and told him that he felt he was nearing death.
“Of course, we are all going to die one day,” Tyson said.

“Then when I look in the mirror and I see these little spots on my face, I’m like, ‘Wow. This means my expiration date is coming to an end, very soon.”
Recently, a 56-year-old man looked back on his life and came to the conclusion that money did not bring him the happiness he hoped for.
“Money means nothing to me,” Tyson said.
I always tell people – they think money will make them happy, they’ve never had money before – when you have a lot of money you can’t expect no one to love you. How do I confess my love to you when you have 500 billion dollars?
“A false sense of security. You believe that nothing can happen. You don’t believe that banks can fail. You believe that you are invincible when you have a lot of money, but this is not true. That’s why I always say money is a false sense of security.”
Tyson said he has conversations with his wife where she says she wants security money.
“What is security?” he asked.
“I don’t know. When you put money in your bank and you get a check every week and you can live for the rest of your life, is that safe? So you won’t get infected, you won’t get hit by a car? You can’t jump off a bridge. I don’t know. That’s security? Can money keep you safe from that?”
Tyson was in the center in April viral video storm where he was filmed striking to an overzealous fan in flight.
