National Party MP Barnaby Joyce criticized the government’s foot-and-mouth disease detection as “much too much for Murray Watt.”
Mr Joyce said the prime minister’s office should take over as he called the government’s “incompetence”.
“I just think the government is negligently incompetent,” he told Sky News Australia.
“I think that this is beyond the power of Senator Murray Watt.
“It should be sent to the Prime Minister’s office. He needs to get it under control.”
