Ga. One-year-old child dies, twin brother fights for his life after being injured

FORT VALLEY, Georgia. A group of twins from Georgia were the victims of a senseless crime after both were shot to death Wednesday night.

Fort Valley Police say they responded to a 10:45 p.m. shooting call at Lakeview Apartments.

Officers say they found two children who were shot dead. Medics took both to a local hospital, where one of them died.

Peach County Coroner Kerry Rooks identified the child. WGXA like one year old Marcaley Ball.

Rooks identified the other victim as Marcaly’s twin brother, who he says is “fighting for his life” in the hospital.

Investigators say they have identified suspects, but details about them are not disclosed.

Details about what led to the shooting were also not reported.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Fort Valley Police in their investigation.
