American tourists attacked by crocodiles in Mexico

Two American tourists in Mexico were injured during a crocodile attack.

tourists were in Puerto Vallarta resort in Mexico when one of the people went swimming and was attacked by a crocodile. As the second person entered the water to help, he was also attacked by a crocodile, according to the civil defense agency in the western state of Jalisco in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

One man suffered injuries to his legs, chest, arm and stomach, officials said. Another man had injuries to his arm and upper thigh.

According to a Facebook post, the men were from Colorado. After the attack, rescuers provided them with medical care and then took them to a local hospital.
