Jake Paul thinks Lamar Jackson deserves more money than Kyler Murray

Arizona signed Kyler Murray this week with a major contract extension that reportedly could be worth over $230 millionThere is one NFL quarterback who is still waiting for his paycheck: Lamar Jackson.

During the off-season, we detailed that Jackson and the Crows Negotiated a deal, but nothing has been signed yet. Veterans of the Ravens are due for training camp on Tuesday.

One person who thinks Jackson deserves a new contract now – and a bigger one than Murray – is YouTube sensation turned professional fighter Jake Paul. On Friday, Paul told his 4.3 million Twitter followers that “Lamar Jackson deserves that Murray money plus plus.”

Jackson replied Paul, calling him “my boy”.

While Jackson has said in the past that he is ready to play the final year of his rookie contract and has essentially bet on himself for the upcoming season, this is not the first time he has publicly hinted at a new contract.

A few weeks ago, Jackson and his agent changed their Twitter bio to a meme that read “I need $”, which Jackson denied was related to his contract situation.

Jackson’s contract situation was described by owner Steve Biscotti as “fucking unique” when asked in March. Biscotti also stated that a new deal is unlikely to take place this offseason.
