Vista, California – Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Sakura Yosozumi of Japan placed second at the women’s skateboarding park on Saturday at the X Games, while compatriot and Tokyo runner-up Kokona Hiraki placed third.
Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist Sky Brown, who was born in Japan to a Japanese mother and competes for her British father’s homeland, was the winner. Yosozumi won the April Japan X Games competition in April in Chiba.
