Fuel tanks on fire after Ukraine strikes a warehouse in Russian-occupied Donetsk

A fuel depot in Russian-occupied Donetsk caught fire after Ukrainian forces attacked it in the early hours of July 26, according to Ukrainian officials and Russian state media. This footage, released by the Donetsk People’s Republic’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, shows the brigade working to put out the fire, which continued to burn for hours until morning. Russian state media reported that a warehouse located in the Budyonnovsky district was fired upon by shells “from 155-mm NATO caliber guns.” Storyful was unable to independently verify the type of projectile used to hit the warehouse. A spokesman for the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Bratchuk, shared a video of the burning depot visible from afar, as well as a congratulatory message confirming that Ukrainian forces were behind the attack.
