Meghan Markle and model girlfriend Prince Harry’s nine-year-old son has been mysteriously found dead, the family said.
Kelly McKee Seiffen, 42, made the heartbreaking announcement on Instagram last Friday after her son George was reportedly found “unresponsive” at their home. Sun reported.
“My world has shattered into a million pieces,” said the former model and businesswoman.
“I have little opportunity to breathe. Walk. Function. Sit. Stand. You were the light of my life.
“Your smile made the room so bright and your heart was the most perfect and the sweetest.”
Seiffen wrote that she “will try hard for your beautiful twin sister.”
The Mom Alliance co-founder has a surviving daughter who has a heart condition and wears a pacemaker.
“George didn’t have heart problems that they knew about. Nobody knows what happened right now,” an anonymous family friend told DailyMail.com.
A nine-year-old boy was tragically found “unconscious” at home, the source said, and the cause of death remains a mystery.
“They are still waiting for autopsy results,” the source said.
“I don’t even think she (Kelly) knows right now. He was simply found unresponsive.
“It’s hard to believe it’s him when, of course, it’s his sister who’s been suffering from a heart attack since the age of two.”
Meghan and Harry’s friends donated $5,000 to George’s GoFundMe in their children’s names.
The proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to Los Angeles Children’s Hospital.
Meghan met Seifen through her ex-husband Trevor Engelson, who also donated to GoFundMe, a source told the Daily Mail.
Engelson is said to be friends with her husband Julian, a Seifen entertainment lawyer.
Another friend told the Mail that Meghan and Seiffen kept in touch through her charity Alliance of Moms.
Actresses Kristen Bell and Joanna Garcia Swisher are among the many women involved in Seiffen’s charity project.
George’s tragic death comes just days after a grieving mother posted photos of her two children with new backpacks.
A couple of weeks ago, Seiffen also shared touching photos of her daughter carrying George on her back.
“You left this Earth and left behind so many people who loved you,” Seifen said in the tragic post announcing George’s death.
“I don’t know how I can continue. How can I function.
“How can I be light again and rejoice, but I will try. Do your best for your beautiful sister.”
Seifen said funerals are currently being prepared and the family is expected to provide more details as they become available.
