Victims rights advocate Sheldon Kennedy urges senior Hockey Canada officials to resign

Former NHL player and victims’ rights advocate Sheldon Kennedy on Tuesday called for the resignation of Canada’s hockey team management following allegations of sexual harassment against two national youth teams.

Kennedy, co-founder of the Respect Group, which aims to prevent bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination, issued the statement a day after Hockey Canada unveiled its plan to end “toxic behavior” in sports.
