mygov: MyGov Helped Citizens Engage with Government: Information Technology Minister

Usage technology and platforms like MyGov allowed citizens to use various government services and schemes, the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology (THIS IS), Ashwini Vaishnav said on Saturday during an event in New Delhi.

Speaking about MyGov 2.0, he said the platform has helped citizens engage with the government and encouraged more citizens to share their thoughts.

Vaishnav also launched Responsible AI the Youth 2022 initiative created by the National e-Governance Department of the Ministry, Intel India and the Ministry of Education.

The program will be open to all students in grades 8-12 to foster a deeper understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and encourage youth to become human-centered designers, the ministry said in a statement.

“I am extremely proud of the MyGov team for doing everything they can to ensure that we meet the expectations of citizens through collaborative governance,” said Abhishek Singh, Chief Executive Officer of MyGov.

MyGov is a citizen engagement platform of the Government of India launched in 2014. It is a one-stop place for citizens to share their unique nation-building skills and bridge the communication gap through the dissemination of information in a variety of formats and through a variety of media.
