Tebow said he’s not surprised at how quickly the NIL has taken off.

“I thought when people were talking about it, I thought it was going to evolve pretty fast in some really good ways and in some ways people would have to figure it out. Tebow predicted that college football could eventually be consolidated into three conferences.

“I still think that there should be at least three of them in my head and heart. I think it would be difficult to have only two. I think there are too many good teams that should be part of this. I really think it’s more of a move this way. I think at least three, I hope it will be at least as many. It’s too big across the country,” Tebow said.

You have a SEC that’s going up, but, you know, there’s so much going on. There are so many hypotheses. And I’ll be honest, I don’t even think that many decision makers don’t even know what’s going to happen right now.”

Alabama certainly looked as favorites to win the national championship year after year. But Tebow said they definitely have one of the best teams in college football this year. He went even further and predicted that Crimson Tide would win the trophy in January 2023.

“If I had to guess right now, I would probably lean towards Bama. They are so talented. Literally, probably the best forward and the best defender on their team,” Tebow said. “They did a really good job with the transfer portal, got another running back, a couple more receivers.
