HOUSTON, TX (CTRC) — Manager Laredo Taqueria says new residents from nearby townhouses threatened to sue the restaurant because smoke billowed through the windows and their furniture smelled of fajitas.
ABC13 Partners at the Houston Chronicle reported that a taqueria attorney claimed the restaurant was there first and buying the house was the residents’ choice.
Taqueria, which opened in 1984, has been serving food in Houston at 915 Snover Street for nearly 40 years.
The residents did not sue the restaurant, and the threats, according to the restaurant manager, allegedly stopped.
