English players urge next prime minister to support girls’ access to football

England’s Euro 2022 winners on Wednesday urged two candidates vying for the British Prime Minister to ensure that all girls have access to sports at school.

All 23 members of the team that beat Germany 2-1 in Sunday’s sold-out Wembley Stadium final signed an open letter to Conservative Party leadership candidates Rishi Sunaka and Liz Truss, urging them to help “create real change in this country.”
