How to get back deleted texts on iPhone

Remember, when you access an old backup, you are resetting your iPhone to the old settings. This can lead to several problems. If you’re willing to take the risk, follow these steps to see if you have a backup:

Go to Settings.

Choose your Apple ID.

Click iCloud > Storage Management > Backups.

Then follow these steps to use this backup to restore your phone:

Head to Settings > General > Reload.

To choose Erase all content and settings.

Click Restore from iCloud backup.

To come in with your Apple ID and tap Choose backup.

Your phone will revert to the previous version. Now you can start browsing old texts.

This method won’t work if you’ve never backed up your iPhone to iCloud.
