Photos: Dodgers honor legendary broadcaster Vin Scully at pre-game ceremony

The Dodgers honored the late Vin Scully with a pre-game ceremony Friday night at Dodger Stadium ahead of their game against the San Diego Padres.

Both teams lined up along the baselines for a moment of silence in memory of Scully, the legendary former club broadcaster who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 94.

The scoreboard then showed a video of Scully’s 67-year career naming games as the Dodgers.

Afterwards, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was surrounded by his team on the field as he took the microphone and asked the crowd to join in and repeat Scully’s famous line, “It’s time for Dodger baseball.”
